Each year the YMCA High School Mock Trial State Competition brings out some of the most talented, articulate, and enthusiastic young people from around our state.
The competition takes place over the course of 3 days and is held at the Thurston County Courthouse in Olympia. Real judges preside over trials and attorneys rate students on their performances and courtroom etiquette.

Student participants take on the roles of attorneys and witnesses in a courtroom trial in front of a real judge!
Volunteer attorneys are needed to rate students performances in the courtroom and comment on their skill, poise, and knowledge of court procedures.
