YMCA Youth Legislature

April 30-May 3, 2008

Youth delegates from around the State of Washington are in need of the following:

-          3 nights accommodations

-          breakfast for 3 mornings

-          dinner one evening

Delegates range in age from 14 to 18 years old and come from all over the state.

Mock Trial State Championship

March 28-30, 2008

Volunteer attorneys sit in the jury box during 1-4 rounds of competition on the Saturday and Sunday of the State Championship.  Each attorney scores the teams on their courtroom presentation, knowledge of the case, and ability to think on their feet.  Each round is two hours long and is preceded by a brief orientation session for volunteers.
